📋 Overview

TMT ("we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile application that lets users browse, preview, and download meme video templates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

📦 Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the app:

• Device ID – A randomly generated, anonymous identifier stored on your device. We use this solely to manage your daily download quota and rewarded-ad slots. It is never linked to your identity.
• Usage counts – Aggregate view and download counters per video template, used to surface popular content. These are not tied to you personally.
• App configuration – We fetch display settings (e.g. banner URLs, feature flags) from our server. No personal data is sent with these requests.

🚫 Information We Do Not Collect

• Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Location data (GPS or coarse)
• Photos, camera, or microphone access
• Contacts or social-graph data
• Payment information
• Browsing history outside of this app

⚙️ How We Use Your Information

• Enforce the daily free download quota (10 downloads/day per device)
• Allow up to 2 rewarded ads per day to unlock additional download slots
• Improve content by tracking aggregate (non-personal) view/download counts
• Deliver app configurations and feature updates

📡 Data Storage & Retention

Device quota records (keyed by anonymous device ID) are stored in our MySQL database hosted on Hostinger. Quota records reset daily and are permanently deleted after 30 days of inactivity.

We do not transfer your data across international borders beyond what is inherent to standard cloud hosting.

📢 Third-Party Advertising

The app may display rewarded advertisements to unlock extra download slots. These ads may be served by third-party ad networks (e.g. Google AdMob). Those networks may collect advertising identifiers in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review:

You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

🔒 Security

All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS. API write endpoints are protected with a server-side API key and are not accessible to end users. We apply parameterized queries throughout to prevent SQL injection.

👶 Children's Privacy

TMT is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through our app, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
